Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities include supporting development, testing, integration, fielding, and sustainment of advanced systems for U.S.

Military platforms and mission systems. You will develop and validate system requirements, ensure hardware and software components integrate seamlessly, and collaborate with design teams to support test planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools that support hardware/software integration.
• Ability to develop requirements, interfaces and system verifications.
• Experience integrating complex hardware and software across lab, testbed, or vehicle environments.

Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. The Senior Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties

• Participate in a broad range of engineering tasks supporting the development, testing, integration, fielding, and sustainment of advanced systems for U.S. Military platforms and mission systems
• Develop and validate system requirements, ensuring hardware and software components integrate seamlessly
• Collaborate with design teams, supporting test planning and execution
• Assist with system-level troubleshooting and verification in laboratory and field environments

Qualifications

Required Education

• BS degree and fourteen (14) years of experience; four (4) years of related experience accepted in lieu of a degree

Required Clearance

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required

Required Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools supporting hardware/software integration
• Experience supporting requirements development, interface definition, system verification, and validation activities
• Experience integrating complex hardware and software components across laboratory, testbed, or vehicle environments
• Experience with HW Avionics or SW Avionics
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques (SysML/UML)
• Experience analyzing system documentation, architecture artifacts, and interface control documents (ICDs)
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation
