Job summary

NODA AI in Austin, TX is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a high-ownership, hands-on engineering team responsible for system-level integrity as the company scales. You will profile systems, debug cross-domain issues, and build a multi-pod team that ensures robust orchestration across software, hardware, and networking domains.

You will shape the bench, mentor engineers across disciplines, and own health, performance, and release-readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in distributed, real-time, or multi-domain systems in production.
• 2+ years of supervising engineers across multiple technical domains.
• Senior debugging expertise for cross-system issues that span layers.
• Ability to reason across software, hardware, networking, and firmware domains.

Responsibilities

• Hire, level, and develop engineers across software, networking, RF, and hardware-adjacent debugging.
• Coach cross-layer debugging as a team capability and guide when to dive deep or span across domains.
• Profile systems and root-cause complex cross-domain issues.
• Own System Health, including performance, MTTR, and telemetry.
• Own crash-to-root-cause analysis and release go/no-go evidence.
• Incorporate DoD security and CMMC constraints into system design inputs.
• Translate field/customer requirements into actionable constraints for the team.
• Represent Systems Engineering at cross-team design sessions and Architecture Review Board.
