Job summary

OMNI Consulting Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for a federal program in Chantilly, VA. You will conduct independent assessments of designs, architectures, and system performance, guiding decisions with rigorous analysis and expert guidance.

You will support requirements, integration, test, and operations while evaluating ISR/radar and RF payload performance. MBSE/digital engineering and briefing material development are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace/defense/space programs.
• Experience with ISR, radar, RF payload, or mission systems engineering.
• Familiarity with MBSE/SysML tools and SE lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent technical assessments of contractor designs, architectures, and system performance.
• Support systems engineering activities including requirements, integration, test, verification, and operations.
• Evaluate radar, RF payload, and mission system performance.
• Support MBSE and digital engineering efforts using tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Participate in design reviews, integration/test campaigns, and readiness assessments.
• Identify technical risks and provide recommendations to government leadership.
• Develop briefings and decision support materials for senior stakeholders.

You’ll provide independent technical assessments, drive systems engineering excellence, and directly influence decisions made by senior government stakeholders through rigorous analysis and expert guidance. • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
