SIXGEN is hiring a Systems Engineer in Columbia, MD. The role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph, 5 days on-site, and 10+ years in systems engineering.

You will lead engineering activities across lifecycle, develop architectures, and coordinate with government stakeholders to deliver secure, mission-focused capabilities. Qualifications include a BS in Systems Engineering (or related field), DoD 8570 Level II certifications, and extensive experience in documentation and system design.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field; four years can substitute for a degree.
• Active CISSP, CASP+ CE, or CSSLP certification (DoD 8570 IASAE Level II) preferred.
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience developing technical documentation, system architectures, and designs.
• Experience with system development, integration, and implementation activities.
• Strong communication with technical teams, government stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, develop, and deliver input to the systems engineering process.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture, and system design artifacts.
• Guide planning through engineering management and test plans.
• Provide engineering guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with admins, engineers, developers, testers, and government partners.
• Deliver briefings to technical and executive audiences.
• Support applied research and cyber capability development projects.
• Contribute as a senior technical resource on complex efforts.
• Ensure solutions are sound and secure from concept to deployment.
