Job summary

MANTECH seeks an experienced and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in the Fort Gordon, GA area. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level virtualization, automation, and storage solutions to support development, test, and production environments, with clear briefings for senior management.

Required criteria include a technical bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience, Linux expertise, and hands-on work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 14+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience; or an Associate's degree with 19+ years’ experience.
• Experience with Linux administration and engineering.
• 3 years of active, hands-on experience using at least one of the following: Kubernetes/Rancher OR AWS Virtual Environment Provisioning, Management, Orchestration

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level virtualized environments and infrastructure.
• Provide full-lifecycle systems administration for hardware and software across development, test, and production environments.
• Deploy and maintain IT automation solutions to streamline operational tasks within secure, isolated network architectures.
• Engineer and optimize scalable storage solutions and complex file system configurations.
• Author and present technical program documentation and briefings for senior-level management and stakeholders.
