Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead lifecycle engineering activities from concept through decommissioning.

The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, reflecting the sensitive nature of contracted programs. The successful candidate will define operations concepts, specify performance and interface requirements, and develop test plans while coordinating with customers and product teams to align architectural visions

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• ABET-accredited degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, or physics)
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (concept, design & development, testing, production, deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning)
• Level 03 - ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Level 02 - seven (7) years of relevant experience
• Level 01 - three (3) years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering functions, including defining and documenting concepts of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development, performing high-level system design
• Specify system/component performance and interface requirements
• Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans
• Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they best facilitate strategic and tactical efforts
• Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements
• Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams
