Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to manage stability, security, and scalable data workflows. You will lead a small DevOps/SysAdmin team, mentor staff, and collaborate with a 25+ member software engineering group to architect and maintain robust, observable infrastructure.

You will oversee security, SSP processes, and deployment automation with GitLab CI/CD, across AWS, bare metal, and containerized environments. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL9).
• Automation with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.
• Experience with AWS and containerization (Podman, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with SSP compliance and observability stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor two system administrators.
• Collaborate with a 25+ software engineering team.
• Provide guidance for overall system design with software teams.
• Maintain production, development, and staging environments.
• Oversee security and SSP accreditations.
• Ensure system observability, backups, and disaster recovery.
