Job summary

Based in Boston or Raynham, you will collaborate across R&D, clinical, quality, and regulatory teams, plan demonstrations, document risks, and lead feasibility studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in multidisciplinary systems engineering, prototype development, or applied research.
• Experience with Class II/III medical devices or surgical robotics is preferred.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, software/firmware, or controls is a plus.
• Strong systems engineering and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define system definition and demo strategy for technology prototypes, including architecture and success criteria.
• Develop prototype requirements from technology hypotheses and user needs.
• Collaborate across R&D, clinical, quality, regulatory, and engineering disciplines to assess feasibility and integration potential.
• Hands-on work with prototypes and demonstration setups to accelerate learning and decision-making.
• Define system behaviors, demonstration scenarios, and acceptance criteria for feasibility studies.
