Job summary

The Boeing Company at Kennedy Space Center in Florida is seeking multiple Senior Systems Engineers to join our ESG team. You will drive end-to-end validation methods and test systems across disciplines, translating flight requirements into actionable test plans and verification strategies.

You will lead cross-functional teams through complex systems testing, root-cause analyses, and continuous improvements to instrumentation and procedures, ensuring readiness for mission-critical space programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent related to the work.
• Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI security clearance (citizenship required).
• 7+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Ability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Strong skills in engineering analysis, requirements tracing, and technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Define, decompose, and coordinate system-level test and verification requirements from customer, mission, and operational needs.
• Integrate cross-functional parameters across electrical, mechanical, fluids, thermal, and software interfaces to verify end-to-end compatibility and functional integrity.
• Lead analyses including safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, survivability, and certification to optimize configurations for mission success.
• Govern requirements management and verification tracking using formal tools, risk frameworks, and readiness assessments to ensure complete verification closure.
• Represent the system test organization in factory, test cell, and post-production environments during hardware builds and testing.
• Lead dynamic system test operations, translating flight and ground environments into test procedures, instrumentation strategies, and acceptance criteria.
• Author technical dispositions and deviations for hardware non-conformances or test anomalies to maintain cadence without sacrificing safety or quality.
• Lead rapid root-cause analysis, fault investigation, and multi-system troubleshooting to diagnose operational anomalies and flight hardware defects.
• Identify and deploy upgrades to test infrastructure, instrumentation setups, and processes to improve cadence and mission throughput.
