Job summary

Ultra Maritime is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of sonar and related systems. You will work closely with RF, Mechanical, Electrical, Acoustic, and Software Engineers to guide the system through all phases of the lifecycle and perform system-level trade-space assessments with the Project Engineer.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years in a related engineering environment; travel up to 10% and potential security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with sonar or similar signal processing systems.
• Experience guiding system development across hardware and software.
• Ability to document and specify system requirements and perform trade-space analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering efforts through the entire lifecycle.
• Provide leadership to a small team of engineers across disciplines.
• Support cost estimation and technical input for proposals and IR&D.
