Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions seeks Systems Engineers (Levels 3-5) for a long-term contract in Cache County, Utah. Hybrid work with 2–3 onsite days per week. ASAP start, pay rate $60–$85/hr DOE.

Focus on design, development, and integration of command-and-control software for autonomous robotic systems. Responsibilities include translating stakeholder goals into structured requirements, defining interfaces, and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 7-10+ years in systems engineering or related areas.
• Proven experience writing and managing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC standards and functional safety practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and track product goals and system needs.
• Translate objectives into detailed system and subsystem requirements.
• Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs).
• Ensure requirements meet ISO/IEC standards and functional safety practices.
• Use Jama or similar tools for requirements management and traceability.
• Support design activities and contribute to documentation.
