Job summary

AeroVironment in California is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support the MDA Chief Engineer and the Mission Risk Manager by assisting with the development of Flight, Technical, and Cyber risks as they relate to internal and external systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field, 7+ years of experience, active Secret clearance, and strong communication skills to convey technical information to senior MDA leaders. Proficiency with MS Office/TEAMS/PowerBI is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support development of Flight, Technical, and Cyber risks for MDA systems.
• Lead risk management within MRWG for integrated risk activities.
• Perform technical risk assessments to support OCL decisions.
• Review evidence of risks in system requirements and design reviews.
• Support risk development with program elements.
