Job summary

Boeing is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to lead SE efforts for the Seeker IPT across production, capacity expansion, and development programs. You will partner with the Seeker RE to ensure technical excellence and integration of the PAC-3 Seeker system.

Requires years of SE experience, MBSE proficiency, and an active U.S. security clearance; onsite role with opportunities for leadership and innovation within aerospace defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Lead, Level 4: typically 9+ years of related work experience.
• Senior Level 5: typically 14+ years of related work experience.
• Principal Level 6: typically 20+ years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of Systems Engineering on development programs.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems and multi-functional engineering efforts for the Seeker IPT across its lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and QA to define SE processes and best practices.
• Conduct trade studies and risk assessments to optimize design, cost, and schedule.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, interface control documents, and verification plans.
• Oversee integration of hardware and software components for RF seeker system.
• Support production and capacity expansion initiatives with technical guidance.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers toward continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present technical docs to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and RF seeker technologies.
