Grantek is a leading provider of integrated automation and industrial information solutions. We seek a highly skilled Systems Engineer with experience in food, beverage, and life sciences industries to design real-time automation from plant floor to enterprise level.

You will work with PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, networking, and databases, collaborating with clients to deliver robust, scalable solutions while mentoring teammates and continually learning new technologies.

Qualifications

Completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, CS, EE, or related engineering technology.
5–7 years of working experience with the listed technologies.
Meticulous, analytical, quick learner with strong communication.
Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle access.
Willingness to travel 30–50% within the USA.

Responsibilities

Engineer and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions.
Conceptualize during the design phase of the project life cycle.
System programming, debugging, and testing.
Create documentation, including project notes, proposals, design traceability docs.
Commission new solutions at client sites; identify improvements.
Create methodologies and complex problem-solving approaches.
Learn new technologies.
Mentor colleagues on your expertise and knowledge base.
