Job summary

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support development and integration of advanced U.S. Navy tactical systems in Moorestown, NJ.

This position is fully on-site and requires a current security clearance at least secret level. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of systems engineering experience, with strong design, development, and integration skills, real-time systems experience, and familiarity with DOORS and Linux in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of systems engineering experience.
• Strong experience in systems design, development, and integration.
• Experience with real-time systems development (minimum ~3 years).
• Experience with programming or scripting (3rd/4th generation languages).
• Strong understanding of requirements management and system decomposition.
• Experience working with DOORS.
• Experience working in a Linux and Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support development and modification of complex systems and subsystems
• Perform advanced systems engineering analysis and design activities
• Manage and decompose system requirements into implementable components
• Conduct system performance modeling and analysis (MATLAB)
• Support and lead system integration and hardware/software integration & test
• Perform system verification and validation activities
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive resolution
• Collaborate across engineering teams to support system design and implementation
• Contribute to embedded systems development efforts
