Graphcore is seeking engineers to turn large-scale system measurements into clear decisions. You will analyze results from real systems, determine if performance is stable, and decide if systems are ready for production.

The role emphasizes uncertainty, evidence, and rigorous interpretation over dashboards. You’ll shape how measurements are run, with opportunities to specialise while ensuring coverage across the team.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience across multiple projects or systems.
• Experience in Linux-based environments, ideally with distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and automation/CI CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Ability to design, implement and run experiments producing meaningful results.
• Ability to interpret results and communicate findings clearly for decision-making.
• Comfortable working when requirements are not fully defined.

Responsibilities

• Design and run experiments to understand system behavior and variability.
• Analyze measurements from large-scale systems and draw actionable conclusions.
