Job summary

Quvia is seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong networking background to join our Miramar, Florida office. You will work with software developers, QA, and operations to ensure robust, efficient, and secure systems, focusing on switching, routing, and VPNs.

The role requires hands-on experience with ESXi, KVM, Proxmox, Linux, Bash and Python, plus the ability to travel to customer sites and PoPs. A related degree and 5+ years of experience are expected; relocation to the South Florida area is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting hardware, software, and OS platforms.
• Proven networking expertise across OSI layers and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure robust, efficient, and secure systems in collaboration with software, QA, support, and operations teams.
• Work closely on networking, including switching, routing, and VPNs, and support AWS VPC networking as needed.
• Travel to customer sites and Quvia PoPs as required; maintain valid passport and driver’s license and vehicle.
