Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and support the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming engineering toward model-based approaches.

You will capture and develop system models to become the backbone for future programs, leverage MBSE tools, and coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on cross-domain models.

This full-time role requires an Active Secret clearance, a Master's degree in a STEM field, and 12+ years of related experience.

MDR is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with MBSE tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.
• Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools.
• Coordinate with internal, and external teams to collaborate on models.

Required Skills

• Master's Degree in STEM field
• 12+ years of experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong Model-based engineering experience
• Ability to excel in a team setting
• Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

Desired Skills

• Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
• MDA Experience
• Expertise in C2, data transport, PNT, or interoperability
