Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) with nine+ years experience; Master’s in STEM with seven+ years is preferred.
• Knowledge of space and ground domain mission and technical capabilities.
• Experience in systems engineering life cycle from concept to decommissioning.
• Experience in requirements definition, architectures, interfaces, validation and verification.
• Polished communicator and collaborative, able to coordinate across levels of government.
• Self-starter with ability to define solutions for broad topics.
• Familiar with MBSE, digital engineering, Agile/DevSecOps, cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist government with planning, engineering, integration, and O&M of mission systems.
• Analyze and document site system architecture and impacts of updates/deliveries.
• Collaborate with HQ, site organizations, and mission partners on requirements, costs, schedule, and technical risks.
• Document, develop and deliver analyses, recommendations, plans, and briefings to the Government.
• Develop and maintain MBSE models of mission systems and integrate MBSE tools into a digital thread.
• Leverage digital twin technologies and modeling/simulation to support risk reduction, rehearsal, and verification.
• Support development and integration of automated test solutions and continuous improvement in software design and architecture.
