Job summary

Kaimetrix is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer – Level IV in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to support IT operations at DHA Medical Treatment Facility. The role involves designing and implementing enterprise IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance in a critical DoD environment.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10 years in systems engineering, with knowledge in virtualization and ITIL/ITSM processes. An active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure design.
• Advanced experience with enterprise IT systems, virtualization, and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal IT systems.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement enterprise IT infrastructure solutions.
• Analyze system performance and optimize infrastructure.
• Lead system integration efforts across networks and servers.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks impacting IT delivery.
• Provide Tier III escalation support for complex system issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams for compliance.
• Develop system architecture documentation and SOPs.
