Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • 20+ years of Systems Engineer experience in similar scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or five extra years of SE experience in lieu.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison ensuring alignment across teams and leadership.
  • Act as security coordinator for products, including SSPs and 508 compliance.
  • Collaborate with cloud architecture to support migration/integration efforts.
  • Apply ISO/IEC 15288 processes and ensure deliverable quality.
  • Communicate with sponsors, overseers, and executives to resolve technical issues.

You will apply systems engineering principles across the full system lifecycle—from concept through retirement—while partnering closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership. This role offers the chance to directly influence secure system design, support cloud modernization efforts, and guide programs through key security authorization activities.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.Act as the security coordinator for all assigned products, including STE/STN activities, SSP reauthorization, and accessibility (508) compliance.Collaborate with the cloud architecture team to support cloud migration and integration efforts.Provide systems engineering expertise across all ISO/IEC 15288 process areas and maintain accountability for the technical quality, integrity, and completeness of associated deliverables.Communicate effectively with sponsors, overseers, and senior executives to address engineering considerations and resolve technical issues.QualificationsRequired:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.Proven ability to plan, lead, and execute systems engineering efforts.Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field.May substitute 5 additional years of systems engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.)Desired:Experience working in hybrid SE/ISSO rolesFamiliarity with cloud technologies and cloud migration initiativesStrong communication skills with experience interfacing with senior government or program stakeholdersKnowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 processes and lifecycle management best practices.This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
