Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the full lifecycle development, deployment, and sustainment of defensive cyber capabilities for a Space Force client in Colorado. You'll work in a team delivering hybrid cloud infrastructure, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and runbooks, contributing to secure digital transformation

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience, or a Master's with 10+ years.
• 5+ years experience in development, deployment, and sustainment of secure or mission-critical systems.
• 5+ years experience implementing hybrid cloud infrastructure across on-premises and public cloud environments, including Azure.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Red Hat Linux, automated provisioning, patching, environment lifecycle management, and creation of technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Ability to travel 25% on average.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure across on-premises data centers and public cloud platforms.
• Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, and environment lifecycle activities.
• Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures.
• Support complex system problem-solving for secure, software-defined multifunction mission systems.
