Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, configure, and maintain standardized infrastructure across business units, including data center, cloud, compute, storage, backup, monitoring, and security.

You will partner with business units to promote adoption and compliance with enterprise standards, manage enterprise infrastructure services hosted by the Crane Corporate Office, ensure uptime and resiliency, support disaster recovery, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a medium- to high-volume environment.
• Experience designing and managing cloud hyperscale environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of hypervisors, backups, storage, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, patch, and manage data center, cloud, compute, virtualization, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and security technologies.
• Ensure uptime and resiliency of enterprise infrastructure through proactive monitoring and remediation.
• Lead infrastructure projects including standardisation, modernisation, and migrations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and playbooks.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to business units and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements such as SOX.
