Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced software engineer for the Engineering Workflow Platform in Santa Clara, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 12 years of software engineering experience.
• Production ownership of workflow/build/release/infrastructure systems with multi-stage pipelines.
• Strong Linux and POSIX fundamentals including files, permissions, processes, and logs.
• Proficient in Python, C++, and shell scripting; familiarity with Make, YAML, and JSON.
• Experience designing configuration or state models and migrating systems without disrupting users.

Responsibilities

• Design the control plane turning engineering intent into repeatable workflow stages and artifacts.
• Model dependencies, manifests, state, retries, recovery, provenance, and machine-readable status.
• Diagnose and prevent production failures involving Linux processes, env, and shared filesystems.
• Modernize legacy Make/Tcl/Perl/Python/shell infrastructure while preserving behavior.
• Collaborate with chip-design, EDA, and infra teams to improve workflow observability.
