Saalex Corporation in Lexington Park, Maryland is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex DoD-focused engineering initiatives across the full system lifecycle. The role requires coordinating across software, hardware and network domains to ensure seamless integration and performance within DoD environments.

Ideal candidates bring extensive systems engineering experience, a Master’s degree in engineering, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on software, computer, and/or network systems within the DoD.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and DoD acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive systems engineering efforts for design, development, integration, and interface analysis.
• Oversee installation, fielding, operation, maintenance, and testing of information processing and related systems.
• Provide expert guidance on system architecture, requirements analysis, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and mission objectives.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
