Stellar Solutions in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Systems Engineer/Cost Account Manager to support NASA's Advanced Nuclear Technology Office for the SR-1 Boom in a part-time role (~20 hours/week). The role blends program management, systems engineering, and acquisition strategy to manage cost, schedule, and risk across the project lifecycle.

You will work with MSFC and senior office managers, developing budgets, governance, and performance reporting, with travel up to NASA centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years space systems program/project management and systems engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of NASA program/project management and systems engineering principles.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of customers, senior leadership, program managers, mission managers, systems engineers and chief engineers.
• Ability to travel up to other NASA centers and supplier locations, up to 1- week per month on average.

Responsabilités

• Provide project management, acquisition strategy, and systems engineering support for SR-1 Boom.
• Assist in developing budget, schedules, and governance processes.
• Advise SR-1 Cost Account Manager and other senior managers during all phases of project execution.
• Support acquisition strategy development and contract performance data analysis for SR-1.
