Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer, Consulting to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. This position offers an opportunity to provide expertise in critical intelligence disciplines such as Geospatial Intelligence and Measurement and Signature Intelligence.

The ideal candidate must be a US citizen with a Top Secret clearance and has over 15 years of experience in systems engineering. Responsibilities include leading project teams and evaluating new technologies.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication required.
• 15+ years of experience supporting DoD or Government systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leading project engineering and scientific teams.
• Performing research and development on C2 or IT systems.
• Guiding the design and construction of specialized facilities.
• Evaluating feasibility and utility of new technologies.
• Developing and presenting briefings to senior personnel.

Skills

Experience with hardware

Experience with software

Knowledge of binary data structures

Familiarity with networking topology

Understanding network protocols
