Job summary

TSTC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and sustainment of complex C4ISR and information warfare systems. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to guide multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience with demonstrated systems engineering leadership.
• Experience with geospatial systems or related mission applications.
• Knowledge of requirements management tools, modeling approaches, and systems engineering methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle including requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, test, deployment, and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, interface specifications, and technical documentation for enterprise-level systems.
• Perform requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification planning per DoD/Navy practices.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, data, and program management teams.
• Lead system performance assessments, trade studies, and risk management.
• Oversee configuration management and engineering change processes.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering plans, and briefs for technical and executive audiences.
• Support field tests, demonstrations, and operational assessments including geospatial data workflows.
