Israelvcforum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to shape the future of mobility in Mountain View, California. You will lead systems engineering for autonomous platforms, driving integration of sensors and embedded systems to ensure reliability and performance.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be at the heart of this transformation—leading systems engineering efforts that ensure seamless integration of sensors and compute platforms. What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
  • Lead all aspects of systems engineering for sensors and embedded platforms, from requirements to integration.
  • Own subsystem‑level strategy and influence platform‑wide decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, requirements, and interface definitions.
  • Drive architectural reviews and enforce best practices for embedded development.
  • Collaborate across hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of system engineering processes, V‑Model, and safety‑critical design principles.
  • Experience in one or more of our key technology areas: sensor platforms, operating systems, or middleware.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety standards.
  • Ability to read/understand source code (C/C++) and system models.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Experience in product release and specification processes.

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week (or other frequency dictated by their manager). The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

Compensation
  • Salary range: $160,000 to $240,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
