Esri is seeking a senior professional to build and optimize enterprise ArcGIS environments for defense and intelligence missions. You will guide architecture decisions, troubleshoot complex production systems, and mentor engineers.

The role spans on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid setups with a focus on high availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include leading migrations, automating deployments, and advising customers on technical strategy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS or STEM fields.
• US citizenship with Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• 12+ years of professional ArcGIS or equivalent IT experience.
• Experience designing, implementing and/or administering enterprise ArcGIS or similar IT systems.
• Broad system administration on Windows and/or Linux.

Build and Optimize Enterprise Technology Supporting Critical National Security Missions. Join Esri`s Professional Services team and lead the deployment, optimization, and modernization of mission critical ArcGIS Enterprise environments supporting Defense and Intelligence customers. You'll solve complex technical challenges spanning enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, databases, automation, high availability, and ArcGIS. As a senior technical resource, you'll guide customers through architecture and deployment decisions, troubleshoot complex production environments, influence technical strategy, and mentor other engineers. Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Vienna, VA area for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities
• Experience designing, implementing and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems (desktop, server and online)
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, C#)
• Familiarity with network concepts and topics (such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, load-balancing)
• Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing (such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field

Recommended Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field
• One or more industry-standard IT certifications (such as Esri, Microsoft, Amazon)
• CompTIA Security + certification
• Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Runtime and their associates APIs or interfaces
• Cloud-based system operations (SysOps)

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is: $156,000 USD - $239,200 USD
