Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) under NSF ASC. You will design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure for core production systems, with potential Antarctica deployments.

The role requires a Public Trust clearance and US citizenship, with a 1-year contract window and 24x7 support responsibilities. Applicants should have 4+ years of relevant Linux engineering experience, expertise in RHEL, VMware/Hyper-V, OpenShift,

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Responsabilidades

• System Design & Implementation: design and implement infrastructure projects aligned with USAP mission requirements.
• Operations & Administration: administer and maintain Linux systems, provide 24x7 support and troubleshooting.
• Automation & Tooling: develop automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python, manage container platforms and CI/CD tooling.
• Collaboration & Support: work with Architecture, Network Operations, Information Security, and Client Services teams.
