Job summary

ARKA Group L.P. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in King of Prussia, PA to support a mission-critical software and AI/ML product development program within an Agile team.

You will be embedded with software, data, and ML engineers, aligning user needs with system architecture and verification outcomes throughout the lifecycle.

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is required; ARKA offers relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems/software engineering, CS, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of systems engineering experience for software-intensive systems.
• Experience with Agile development, epics/features/user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint ceremonies.
• Experience in system integration, verification, and validation (IV&V).
• Strong communication and collaboration with distributed Agile teams.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stakeholder intent and user workflows to shape requirements, features, and user stories.
• Evaluate AI/ML outputs for operational suitability and usability.
• Collaborate with product owners, software/data/ML engineers, UX designers, and test teams.
• Support UI/UX concept development and interface definitions.
• Define verification criteria and contribute to automated test strategy.
• Maintain traceability across system, software, and AI/ML components.
• Develop architecture artifacts, ICDs, SDDs, and other program documents.
• Assist with risk tracking, milestone readiness, and program planning.
