Job summary

Madison-Davis, LLC, a global investment-management organization in New York, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to take hands-on ownership of enterprise infrastructure supporting business-critical applications.

This senior IC will work across Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, hybrid cloud, Citrix, identity, security, and automation, solving complex production problems, improving architecture, and partnering with application and security teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure or systems-engineering experience.
• Advanced Windows Server and Active Directory expertise.
• Strong Group Policy, replication, permissions, and authentication troubleshooting.
• Hands-on enterprise VMware experience.
• Azure and/or AWS infrastructure experience.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with enterprise compute, storage, patching, and systems-management technologies.
• Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
• Ability to remain technically hands-on while serving as a senior engineering resource.
• Ability to work onsite four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Financial-services or investment-management experience.
• SQL Server administration.
