Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers to support the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. You will design, integrate/test and perform data analysis to evaluate system performance and sustainment.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 5–7 years of related experience, the ability to obtain a government clearance, and strong knowledge of Agile processes and Combat Systems. This role requires residency in the Moorestown area and security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; 5–7 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in Agile development environment and system/data analysis.
• Knowledge of Combat Systems and related architecture/requirements activities.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB or Python.

We are seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to design, integrate/test and conduct data analysis to assess system performance of the Combat System.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field and 5-7 years of related experience
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
• This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)
• Understanding of an Agile development environment
• Experience performing system and data analysis
• Functional knowledge of Combat Systems
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: architecture, requirements development, trade studies, algorithm design, or modeling and simulation
• Proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent
• Large Scale Combat Systems design and development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation
• Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
• Systems Engineering background
