Sr. Systems Engineer / Systems Engineer II (Integration & Test) (Through September 2027 // Minneapolis, MN):
Top 3 Skills Required:
- Test method development and execution.
- Technical troubleshooting and debugging (software, firmware, electrical, or telemetry experience preferred).
- Strong technical documentation and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute end-to-end system integration and informal testing of therapy systems.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level observations and issues
- Execute formal verification testing and document test results in accordance with engineering and quality standards.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering
Target Years of Experience: 3-5 years of systems integration, verification, validation, or product testing experience (flexible for strong candidates)
Duties:
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability for total system solutions.
- Develops and executes integration, informal, and verification testing to evaluate overall system performance.
- Investigates and isolates system-level issues through hands-on debugging and root cause analysis.
- Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve hardware and software integration issues.
- Reviews engineering design documentation and develops test methods and test cases aligned to system requirements.
- Documents testing activities and results using Good Documentation Practices.
- Performs analyses throughout the product lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensures product requirements are translated into complete system solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
