Vision Centric Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a priority national defense program. The role provides technical, engineering, and advisory expertise to the LRHW Lead Systems Engineer.

You will develop and maintain systems engineering documentation and analyze requirements to support engineering, integration, test and programmatic activities for a major missile system. The candidate will lead or support TIMs action tracking, meeting coordination, and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• 9 years of systems engineering or related work experience.
• Familiarity with design, interface, and validation/verification requirements from a systems engineering perspective.
• Familiarity with Army missile and weapon system components, interfaces, and performance.
• Ability to present complex information to leads.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Active Secret security clearance; ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, engineering, and advisory expertise to the LRHW Lead Systems Engineer.
• Identify, analyze, and document system design, interfaces, and validation/verification requirements.
• Develop and update all necessary systems engineering documentation to support engineering, integration, test and programmatic activities of a major missile system.
• Lead or support TIMs action tracking and meeting coordination.
• Travel up to 15% is possible.
