As the Sr. System Development Manager, you'll lead and grow an engineering function focused on building scalable systems that improve efficiency of response and protect AWS from known and emerging abuse threats. You'll be responsible for setting direction, hiring and developing top talent, and partnering across the company to deliver durable technical solutions in a fast-moving environment.
AWS Trust & Safety is responsible for protecting AWS infrastructure and customers from abuse, fraud, and illegal content. We operate at massive scale — responding to threats across the full breadth of AWS services — and are investing in next-generation engineering capabilities to stay ahead of evolving risks.
This role sits at the center of that investment: building the engineering function that will define how T&S detects, responds to, and prevents abuse for years to come.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
