Teledyne Micropac seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to define and lead system architecture for advanced microelectronic solutions, PCB modules and subsystems for space and defense. You will guide concept definition, requirements, validation, and production deployment, interfacing with engineering, product management, and customers.

The role emphasizes design-for-reliability, design-for-testability, and collaboration with executives to align with technology roadmaps and market needs.

Qualifications

• BSEE is required.
• 10+ years in microelectronics/PCB/module/subsystem design for space/defense.
• Expertise in radiation effects, derating, and mitigation for space.
• Experience in product management, technical marketing, and competitive positioning.
• Strong systems thinking and knowledge of qualification standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and definition of system architectures at IC, PCB, and subsystem levels.
• Apply radiation-effects expertise to build robust space-grade systems.
• Perform system-level trade studies and optimize performance, cost, and reliability.
• Ensure designs meet qualification, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish business cases and go-to-market strategies.
• Mentor teams in advanced system design and customer communication.
