Draper in Cambridge, MA, seeks a System Requirements & Concepts Engineer to develop system concepts, requirements and architectures for defense and space programs. You will apply MBSE, model-based design and digital engineering to drive concept evaluation, architecture trades and HWIL testing.

Competenze

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• 5–10 years of systems engineering experience with emphasis on requirements engineering.
• Existing DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with MBSE and/or digital engineering tools is expected.

• Coordinate, schedule and participate in requirements assessments.
• Lead in capturing and translating mission requirements into system requirements.
• Develop architecture, use cases and interfaces for concepts and proofs of concept.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and drive risk mitigation activities.
• Engage with customers and cross‑functional teams to manage interfaces and validation.
