Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in the United States seeks a seasoned semiconductor design engineer to lead a team delivering low-level firmware solutions and enablement software alongside HW IP.

You will coordinate HW/SW interactions, drive firmware development, ensure IP compatibility across versions, and promote best practices across programs.

The role involves mentoring engineers, overseeing testing, and travelling internationally up to 5% to Germany, Romania, Czech Republic, China, and India.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in job offered, Software Developer, Application Engineer, Firmware Architect or related occupation.
• Experience in embedded software development and HW/SW integration.
