Qualifications

• MS in Systems, Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7+ years in systems engineering for IVD/medical devices with architecture focus.
• Experience defining architectures, interface control documentation, and trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of system architecture for complex instruments.
• Conduct trade studies to balance performance, cost, manufacturability and risk.
• Plan bench-top experiments and prototype builds to de-risk decisions.
• Define and maintain system-level interface control documentation.
• Model system behavior using SysML or similar methods to validate decisions.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electronics, software, optics, and human factors teams.
