Job summary

Tarrant Regional Water District seeks a Systems Architect Supervisor to lead enterprise architecture design, cloud strategy, and IT infrastructure stewardship. You will guide disaster recovery planning, IAM implementations, and website portfolio oversight while mentoring a small team of Cloud and Systems Engineers.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive IT systems administration and engineering experience.
• Supervisory experience leading diverse, technical teams.
• Automation and IaC experience (PowerShell, Ansible, ARM/Bicep, Azure CLI).
• Expertise in VMware ESXi, VMware Virtual Center, and VDI solutions.
• Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud using Azure Arc.
• IAM in hybrid Active Directory/Entra environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and telemetry tools.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Security best practices, firewalls, DLP, IDS.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Architecture design and development aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate and select emerging technologies for the IT infrastructure.
• Mentor Cloud and Systems Engineers and coordinate project milestones.
• Oversee Azure cloud architecture, IAM, disaster recovery, and security posture.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge management across architecture artifacts.
