Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Systems Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems across UNIX and Windows environments. The role emphasizes Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, system operations, and interdependent SOA architectures in mission-critical settings.

The ideal candidate has extensive SA experience (15+ years), a technical bachelor’s degree, and active TS/SCI with Poly. DoD 8570 IAT I-level certification is required, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: fifteen (15) years of SA experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; five (5) years additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I.
• Active TS/SCI with PolySecurity clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
