Job summary

Bridge Defense seeks a highly qualified Senior Systems Administrator to join a mission-focused team that maintains applications, services, microservices, PaaS, and support services. The role focuses on sustaining current capabilities while identifying future needs and eliminating overlaps, supporting intelligence analysts and operators across the IC.

The position requires troubleshooting expertise across UNIX and Windows, configuring systems, managing network components, and delivering Tier 1–2

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
DoD 8570 IA Tech/IAM Level 2
Experience on a DevSecOps development team
Experience with multiple configuration management tools
Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS architecture builds, Cloud, full-stack, OpenShift, and Java
Familiar with GitLab, Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Nexus, Jenkins and other DevSecOps tools
Analytical and prioritization abilities

Responsibilities

Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
Desktop system management involving account monitoring, security, OS installation, and related functions.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
Participates in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
Assist in escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install/load software.
Isolate and resolve hardware/software problems involving applications, OS, hardware, and network infrastructure.
Integrate new technologies and transitions for corporate systems.
