Job summary

OPSWAT in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to design, implement, and monitor complex physical and wireless networks across cloud and on‑prem environments. This onsite role requires hands‑on networking experience and the ability to maintain high availability in a 24/7 setting.

You will work with AD, DHCP, DNS, virtualization, and SANs, while implementing security programs and optimizing network performance. Equity and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• At least six years of hands-on networking experience.
• Experience maintaining and managing wireless LANs.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, virtualization, and storage area networks (SANs – NetApp preferred).

Senior Systems Administrator – San Francisco (Onsite)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement both physical and wireless networks.
• Monitor and maintain computer infrastructure for our cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Tune network performance, plan capacity, and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security programs using hardware and software.
• Perform basic networking administration, including switching, routing, and firewall configuration.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $110,000 – $136,000 per year. Eligible for benefits and equity.
