Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support technical initiatives for a large Federal agency, ensuring systems meet client needs and comply with policy. The role requires Relativity experience, ARM workflow knowledge, and the ability to lead a technical team in a government IT environment.

Responsibilities include archiving Relativity databases, drafting workflows, and coordinating with COR and attorneys on requirements, while ensuring on-time delivery and quality control.

Qualifications

  • Significant Relativity experience, including ARM workflows and SOPs.
  • Five+ years hands-on experience with the systems used; knowledge of government IT environments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.

Senior Systems Administrator II

Employment Type: Full Time, Senior-level - Department: Legal/IT

Overview

CGS is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support technical initiatives for a large Federal agency, ensuring systems meet client needs and comply with policy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the archiving of Relativity databases and develop, manage, document workflow for identification, archiving, and deletion per policy.
  • Consult with COR, Government Case Managers, and trial attorneys on system requirements and proposed technical approach.
  • Determine system and project requirements based on consultations.
  • Design entire system to meet required specifications.
  • Perform technical support, including program validation, testing, and system evaluations.
  • Make presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations.
  • Consult with COR regarding task orders, scheduling, personnel assignments, priorities, progress reporting, plans, and develop cost estimates for work.
  • Report on contract and task order progress, supervise personnel, and ensure conformance to work standards.
  • Ensure successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control.
  • Prepare system/technical documentation and train users on developed systems.
Qualifications
  • Significant Relativity experience including creation of ARM’s (Archive/Restore/Move).
  • Experience creating and refining Relativity ARM workflows and SOPs.
  • At least five years of hands‑on experience with the systems used, plus knowledge of government IT environments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lead a technical team and design responsive system solutions.
  • Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or related field.
  • Must obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred
  • Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Infrastructure Specialist Certificate.
