Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior IT professional to provide operations, maintenance, and cybersecurity support for DoD systems at the DLA Richmond site. You will manage the Venus Control Suite environment, coordinate software updates, and address system performance and security challenges.

The role requires a decade of IT experience, a technical bachelor’s degree, and an active Secret clearance with Security+ CE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
10+ years of specialized information technology experience across multiple information-processing disciplines.
At least four years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software environments.
Experience in systems administration, software installation/configuration, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Active Secret clearance and Security+ CE certification; ongoing compliance with certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide operations, maintenance, sustainment, cybersecurity, and technical support for the DLA Richmond Electronic Marquee System.
Maintain the availability, security, configuration, and performance of the Venus Control Suite (VCS) environment and related systems.
Monitor vendor software releases and coordinate installation of approved VCS updates.
Perform vulnerability management and support remediation of findings from vulnerability scans and STIG reviews.
Support DoD RMF cybersecurity activities with DLA personnel, ISSE, and ISSM.
Develop and maintain system administration procedures, documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
