Job summary

New Directions Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior FSA Advisor to maintain reliable computer systems at the 513 EWS, fix network issues, and manage configurations.

You will ensure data integrity, perform backups, and lead projects in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years as a System Administrator, and certifications such as Security+.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years in IT support as System Administrator.
• Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Windows Server 2016 or higher training/experience.
• Windows Active Directory Services.
• Working knowledge of server/workstation virtualization.
• Experience with patch management.
• Experience with Data Storage management.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fully operational and reliable computer systems, including fixing network issues and managing workflow capability.
• Update equipment, configuration and software; monitor and tune systems for optimum performance.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.
• Ensure data/media recoverability via backups and archive operations.
• Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• May serve as a lead on directed projects and initiatives.
