Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments, including virtualization, storage, backup, and Windows core services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware, Active Directory, private cloud environments, and enterprise infrastructure operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer, troubleshoot, patch, and support VMware virtual infrastructures, storage, backup, and Windows environments
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and other Windows core services
• Design and support highly available private cloud and virtualized infrastructure environments
• Develop monitoring standards, operational procedures, capacity planning, and growth strategies
• Manage enterprise storage platforms including EMC Unity and NetApp arrays
• Support and maintain HPE ProLiant server infrastructure
• Design and implement enterprise-wide VMware ESXi v8/v9 infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with vendors and end users to resolve infrastructure and system issues
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Perl, VBS, or similar scripting technologies
• Ensure infrastructure stability, performance, security, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware administration, virtualization, storage, backup, and Windows Server environments
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Windows core infrastructure services
• Experience managing private cloud and highly available virtualized environments
• Strong knowledge of EMC Unity, NetApp storage arrays, and HPE ProLiant servers
• Proven expertise designing and implementing VMware ESXi v8/v9 enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think strategically with a strong technical vision
