MANTECH in Augusta, GA is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our onsite team. The role focuses on system lifecycle management, cloud and on-premises support, and government-facing operations.

You will implement IaC with Ansible, build CI/CD pipelines, and work in Agile environments with Java/REST services. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • HSC or equivalent with extensive relevant experience required.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure services to support native cloud DevOps tooling and operations.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipeline configurations for provisioning and deployment of large- and small-scale systems.
  • Experience with Linux environments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or similar tools.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Java or RESTful services.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Augusta, GA This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Apply system’s administration principles throughout the system’s lifecycle phases: production, utilization and support.
  • Identifies and articulates major uncertainties associated with systems configurations, defining risks and opportunities associated with uncertainties.
  • Supports requirements management, interface management, and architecture change management processes.
  • Translating analysis results into actionable recommendations for Government agencies; develop workflows and activity diagrams based on concept of operations.
  • Builds and executes requirements traceability; supports development of implementable strategies to address sponsor challenges with adoption of MBSE and associated tools.
  • Provide hardware and applications support for the cloud application and system.
  • Provide hardware support for the cloud application and system.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • HS and 13 years of experience; Associates and 11 years of experience; BS/BA and 9 years of experience or Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 5 years of position-relevant work experience. A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure services to support native cloud support of DevOps tools Operational Support and DevOps technologies.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large- and small-scale systems.
  • Experience with Linux environments, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or other comparable products.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and with software development using Java or RESTful services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience develop and integrating highly complex DevOps pipelines, including build automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Experience in provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining version control systems (Git), build tools, and continuous integration tools (CloudBees, Jenkins).
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active DoD TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally, you may need to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
